We are all presented with some opportunities to show courage. Standing up or speaking up for what you believe is often set aside in favor of being cautious. It is easy to justify not “speaking up” – wanting to keep the peace – not wishing to hurt or annoy another person. But there are times when we should speak up. I say these things not as teacher or preacher, rather as someone who wants to put these words into practice. To show courage.

I am a great admirer of each of our children for the courage they have shown.
